Riverfront Fort Wayne is organizing several riverfront cleanups over the next several months. Volunteers are needed to clip honeysuckle limbs from bushes, cut down the remaining trunks with handsaws and carry the brush to an area in the park. All tools and work gloves will be provided.  Groups of 4 – 40 volunteers are encouraged to sign up by calling (260) 427-6026.  Additional details are at http://bit.ly/2wWPQVh.

Take a free guided hike along Fort Wayne’s beautiful trail system and stick around for a bike ride! Celebrate our area's riverine flora, waterfowl, resident birds, and migratory birds. Riverfront Fort Wayne and Fort Wayne City Utilities is bringing you the opportunity to get a behind-the -scenes look at how Fort Wayne's used water (sewage) is treated before being placed back into our rivers. Take a tour of the Water Pollution Control Plant! Open to visitors ages 12 and older. Parking for the Water Pollution Control Plant is in a lot across the street from the facility.
